One month prior to the ordinary entry deadline we’re closing in on 5000 entries

No less than 88 WOC medals have been won by runners representing one of the clubs from Østfold. We will present all of them in the build-up to WOC 2019. Number 23 is Gaute Hallan Steiwer.

Magne Dæhli and Anne Margrethe Hausken Nordberg sprinted best for victories during the Norwegian national team’s open investigation race for the WOC relay Tuesday. Approaching WOC 2019 the two have fairly different planning schedules.

With brief previous experience only with orienteering the sixth graders from Åvangen elementary school in Moss won the WOC school sprint final at Inspiria Science Centre in Sarpsborg.

This year troops from many countries will be fighting for medals in the woods near Spydeberg. Not far from the WOC venue at Mørk two bloody wars have taken place during the last two centuries.

- To plan courses is like arranging harmonies for good experiences, the course planning couple Unni Strand Karslen and Tom Arild Karlsen say. Now they look forward to WOC in home terrains from Aug 12th to 17th.
