- I can’t belive it! Unbelievable! Just like Holmenkollen! Exceeding all expectations! Those were some of the feedbacks from the board of the Norwegian Confederation of Sports (NIF) paid a visit to WOC 2019 at Arena Mørk.

The top leaders of NIF, the Norwegian Golf Federation (NG) and Norwegian Orienteering Federation (NOF) seemed zestful as they were guided round at the arena at Mørk. Some of them attended an event like this for the very first time. NOF General Secretary Lasse Arnesen told about the preparations and conduction of the event. They spoke to some of the 6000 spectators and runners. They tested their orienteering skills and enjoyed the local food from Østfold.

-Fun to be part of this group and see how happy everyone was, member of the WOC committee and board member of NIF Erik Unaas said.

NG president Marit Wiig praised the cooperation with NOF and pictured more cooperations in the future. The NRK coverage has never been this wide before. Drones and camera runners made sure of fabulous TV-pictures on the big screen accompanied by exciting races with exciting commentary. No wonder the superlatives came in thick and fast.
