Trainings

There will be a variable number of official training courses with marked controls in the forest at any time. Contact training@woc2019.no for information about official training and to purchase printed (laser-print) maps. Please use this map order form for ordering official training courses (not necessary after the Event Center opens (see information below)). Before the 10th of August at 12.00, these training maps can be picked up at Inspiria, Sarpsborg, within opening hours (08.00-16.00 on weekdays/09.00-17.00 in weekends). When the Event Center opens at 12.00 on 10th of August, all trainings maps will be moved there and follow the Event Center for the rest of the WOC-period. Training maps can be purchased at Event Center without ordering first. Payment at the Event Center can be done by card or cash.

There are also possibilities to plan your own trainings in addition to the official trainings. If you want to purchase printed maps without controls or JPG/PDF/OCAD-files for that purpose please contact the clubs directly. See below for detailed information about relevant training maps and contact information to the clubs. Please use this map order form for ordering directly from the clubs.

Please note that some of the training areas are in the proximity of the embargoed areas.

Official training camps

6^th – 12^th August, 2019

Originally WOC2019 planned to offer official trainings only during the periods set for official training camps. However, during the last year, as a result of several teams wishes and demands, we have done some changes, and we now offer courses all the time (see the list below). The only difference between the camp-periods and the rest of the year is that we will launch some new courses/trainings for those dates.

No. 5, Våler Varde, 8,2 km, 1:10000, black/yellow tapes at the controls. Parking at the industrial area on the west side of the road close to the finnish. pre-view

No. 6, Isebakketjern, LD, 10,8 km, 1:10000, black/yellow tapes at the controls. Use the parking marked on the map, but pay attention to other users of the area. pre-view

No. 7, Guttersrød, 4* long intervall, 8,4 km, red/yellow tapes at the controls. Printed in 1:10000 on side of the paper and 1:15000 on the other side. Parking and alternative parking (close to control 3), pre-view

No. 9, Skolleborg N, MD, 1:10000, red/yellow tapes at the controls. Parking at the junction at the end of the field (WC2018 arena), but the space is limited so please do not block the entrance to the field or the gravel road. pre-view

Note 1: You do not get map-plastic on the maps you order. Please bring your own.

Prices

The prices listed below apply when ordering files or printed maps from WOC2019 or the clubs. Note that any fees accrued due to payment from a foreign bank must be paid by the buyer. Invoice will be sent for printed maps picked up at Inspiria before 10th of August at 12.00. Printed maps collected from the Event Center after 10th of August at 12.00 shall be paid with cash/card.

* The tenant may invite runners from other teams in division 2 and 3 (IOF’s ranking list) for a cost of NOK 50 per print, the total amount must be paid to WOC2019. Note that some clubs may have different terms concerning this excact point in their rental agreements for OCAD/PDF-files.

Relevant training maps

The training maps can be separated into three groups;

1) maps issued and offered by WOC2019,

2) maps issued by clubs outside the WOC2019-organization and offered by WOC2019, and

3) maps issued by clubs in the WOC2019-organization and offered by the respective clubs.
