There’s been made a change in the time schedule for the spectator race on Tuesday August 13th at Knatterud. The WOC competitors will start and be finished by 12.30 (CET), and the spectator race will follow shortly thereafter.

– We’ve received feedback that many want to attend the WOC opening race, and for that reason we’ve made a schedule change. The spectator race contestants can now watch the world elite runners first, before they run themselves. This opens the possibility for spectator runners to challenge some of the same controls and legs as the WOC competitors. We believe that this change will receive a positive reception, spectator race coordinator Finn Henry Lillestrand says.

The original plan was to have the spectator race in a different type of terrain, and now most parts of the courses will use the same terrain as in the WOC middle-distance qualification.

Time schedule Tuesday August 13th

WOC Middle-distance qualification:

10:00-12:30 (CET)

Spectator race:

12:30-15:00 (CET)
